A few simple habits keep gold, diamonds and stones looking new for generations.
Put jewellery on after makeup, perfume and hairspray, and take it off before bathing, swimming or sleeping.
Chlorine, bleach, detergents and strong cleaners dull gold and loosen stone settings.
Soak in lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap, brush softly with a baby toothbrush, rinse and pat dry with a soft cloth.
Use soft pouches or a lined box so chains do not tangle and harder stones do not scratch gold.
Never soak them. Wipe with a dry, soft cloth only — water and polish loosen the lac and glue.
We check clasps and settings, and professionally polish or re-plate your pieces free of charge.
Lifetime exchange
Your jewellery should grow with you. Exchange any Shri Sai piece at its full prevailing gold value — here is how it works.
Exchange any hallmarked piece bought from us at the current gold rate of the day. Your gold is valued at full market price — no depreciation on the metal.
Gold ornaments, necklaces, bangles, rings, earrings and chains purchased from Shri Sai Jewellers, with the original bill and BIS hallmark intact.
Diamond-set jewellery is exchangeable at the prevailing gold value plus stone value, assessed in-store. Bring the certificate for the best valuation.
The exchange value is applied as credit toward a new piece of equal or higher value. A nominal making charge applies on the new ornament.
Bring the original invoice and hallmarking certificate. If the bill is misplaced, we can verify the piece, but valuation may take longer.
There is no expiry on exchanges. Bring it back a month or a decade later — the gold value is honoured at today's rate, for life.
